Machette Flower
Posted by Sean Ryan September 13, 2004

This almost glowing bright red flower, is a machette flower. You will most likely see this flower on your trip. That's because its located right out front of the San Luis eco lodge. This long skinny flower is pollinated by a humming bird. If you look closely it is easy to see the similarities of the shape of this flower with the shape of a humming birds beak.
