Sunrise in Cabo Blanco

Waking up early in the morning is hard, especially after a long days journey through Costa Rica. But looking at this picture reminds me of why it was worth it. A sunrise may not have all the vibrant colors of a sunset, but it has its own intrinsic value. If you are an avid bird watcher this is the time to see many bird species making their rounds. I missed the bird watching hike that morning but didn't miss the light slowly breaking through the canopy, illuminating by the morning dew. (something I advise everyone to do) Sleeping in is nice, but so is knowing you didn't waste a once in a lifetime opportunity.
