Hike-A-Thon

Please come join us for a day of hiking, learning and fund raising!
The hike-a-thon will be held in the beautiful Gazos watershed near our Field Research Station. Some of the hikes will be along Gazos creek and some will take you up into Big Basin State park.

Terrain: Steep climb up to 1400 ft, then down to approx. 400 ft and
back.

Terrain: Steep climb to 1400 feet at Sandy point and back.

Terrain: Steep climb to 1400 ft, flat and out in the open for several miles then another steep climb up to 1600 ft.

We will start our hikes at 10am or whenever enough people show up! We will continue to send out hikes throughout the day whenever enough people are ready to go. We will put out a cold buffet around noon for the returning hungry hikers.


Registration Information

You may register as an individual hiker, a family, or a group. We encourage you to solicit pledges from your friends and family. Please print and use the registration and pledge forms below. You can ask your sponsors to pledge "by-the-mile" or "by-the-hike". We ask that you gather a minimum of $25 in pledges (or just pay $25 yourself if you do not want to solicit pledges). Checks may be made out to Pescadero Conservation Alliance.
